Technician/Lab manager position available

at the Institute of Human Genetics, Section Nephrogenetics. The position is initially limited to 2 years, a permanent employment is possible. Remuneration is based on TV-UK.
The lab deals with the genetic basis of kidney diseases. We use modern cell and molecular biological methods on cell culture, mouse and fly models.
Working with Drosophila fly strains: keeping, crossing, manual dissections
Histological and immunohistochemical staining techniques of various fly tissues, microscopy
Molecular biology work: cloning, genotyping
Organizational tasks: ordering, laboratory organization, communication with university hospital administration and authorities
Completed training in the field of medical-technical assistance (MTLA, BTA, CTA) or comparable qualification
Experience in laboratory management, histology and animal experiments (ideally with Drosophila) desired
Ability to work in a team
Good knowledge of English, ideally also proficient in German
